Celebrating Book week March 1st 2023
Today I got to read my book Magical Mangroves to a small group of students to celebrate book week. I brought in some mangroves seedlings and seeds so that students could look at bit closer at these amazing trees.

Book 3 - Magical Mangroves Is now Ready to read
Book 3 is in its final stages! My aim to get it printed for World Ocean Day which is not far away June 8th! I am really excited about this project as I have learned so much about mangroves through the writing and illustrating of the book. Here is a sneak peak....

Jan 2022 Coral Restoration
We just had a couple of unexpected days on Nananu as a family to check in on the coral. After not being able to get there due to COVID it was great to see it was all doing ok. We were able to outplant about 60 corals! We even had 2 surprise visitors on the rack! See the gallery below for the clam and blue starfish!

Jan 2022 - Book 3 - Coming Soon
Over the school holiday I have had time to explore the mangroves both above and below water. The story is almost there and I am not starting the illustrations. I am super excited about this book and all that I am learning about these incredible trees!

December 2021
December has been so much fun as the books were printed and we began sales from the school (International School Suva) shop. I am so grateful to all who brought the book to read and share. It is exciting to think this book has now travelled with families on xmas holidays to Australia, New Zealand and America.

first Book Launch
Coral Catastrophe and Coral Attack are both getting printed as I type this. Which I am very excited about. Next week (Starting 29/11/21) we are planning to do a book launch and signing at International School Suva. ISS has been so supportive and have published the first edition of both books.
